Hello and welcome to De La Salle High School's website.
De la Salle High School is an all-ability boys high school offering provision for young men from 11- 19 years old. As the Principal I have been very impressed with the warm, happy and caring atmosphere I find in the school prevalent among pupils and staff.
As a Lasallian school we promote Christian values and our chief aim is to provide a safe, caring learning environment and provide the opportunities for our young men to develop into contributors of society, positive role models and leaders of the future.
De La Salle is above all else a caring school, we are very proud of all of our young people, with a dedicated staff constantly seeking to expand and improve on the facilities and opportunities that already exist. Our greatest strength as a school is our strong links with home and the local community. As a school we live by our motto:
Take Care, Show Care, Teach Care…. Evoke Care.
Living and working by this motto has allowed us as a school to ensure constant high academic achievements for our young men. The mutual respect between staff, pupils and parents has been recognized in being awarded ‘A Children’s Rights Respecting School’, the very first post primary school in Northern Ireland. We are very pleased as a school community to have received this award. Its significant for us and is indicative of our determination to remain at the forefront of educational developments.
I hope you enjoy browsing our website (along with our Facebook and Twitter accounts) but if you wish to find out more please contact the school.
